Park Sung-Wha, Korea Republic coach
We trained hard for this match and even though our preparation was thorough, Cameroon played differently to how we thought they would. They are a strong team and though it was a great pity that we didn't win, I'm quite satisfied with the point. We will try our best in the next game to beat Italy. I must congratulate the crowd who were very enthusiastic in their support for us.
Martin Ndtoungou, Cameroon coach
I too would like to thank the supporters who gave us a lot of encouragement and my players who never gave up. The substitutions really made a difference as the humidity was really tough on the players. The fresh legs gave them the impetus to push forward and put pressure on our opponents. I must also congratulate Korea Republic who played really well and never gave up.
Shin Young-Rok, Korea Republic forward
We are a little disappointed that we created so many good chances, but only scored one goal. I'm a forward and always try my best to score, so for me the result is a pity. I think can do better in the next game.
Georges Mandjeck, Cameroon forward
This is a huge experience for me and this match at this Olympic Games is without doubt, the most important game I have ever played in. I want to thank my coach for bringing me here - it is a real honour. I want to keep on playing, playing well and scoring goals and I will do my very best for my team and for my country.
