Martin Ndtoungou, Cameroon coach
I thought it was a decisive match, because it has put us in a great position to qualify for the next stage, therefore I am very happy. We played our best players and I think our tactics were very good. We had some difficulties in the first half, but put pressure on our opponents. I always believed that the goal would come.
Gilberto Yearwood, Honduras coach
We played as we wanted to play and I thought we played well. It was a match that could have gone for either side, but unfortunately for us it went for Cameroon. We gave it our all, but it still wasn't enough. My players gave everything during the 90 minutes and I was proud of my players. I am sure we will finish this tournament with a sense of pride.
Stephane Mbia, Cameroon midfielder
I'd like to thank the coach for bringing me to this Olympic Games. During half-time, he gave me some good advice, allowed me to get forward and so of course, I'm really happy to have scored today, it was a wonderful feeling. It's a great event and I'm very happy to be here. It's so well organised and I am proud to represent my country.
Ramon Nunez, Honduras midfielder
I think we can finish with a win over Korea. That will be our goal. We want to go home with at least one win, we want to go home having scored goals and we want to go home having played well. We will be playing it as if it were a final. We're a team. We win as a unit and we lost as a unit. I'm just disappointed that we lost today.
