Pierluigi Casiraghi, Italy coach
I thought it was a great match and that my players did a great job. Korea Republic were a harder test than Honduras. We're now guaranteed a place in the quarter-final, but we now want to finish first in our group. But that's not about us trying to avoid Brazil, they are in the same situation as ourselves. It's just a case of us taking things one game at a time. We're not among the favourites.
Park Sung-Hwa, Korea Republic coach
This result was not a good one. We did a lot of preparation for this match and there was a lot of expectation from the fans, so I would like to apologise to all those people who follow the team closely. Italy are a very strong team and they have some great individual players. As for the next match against Honduras, we will be doing our best to win.
Giuseppe Rossi, Italy forward
I'm not thinking of being the top scorer in this competition. I'm just thinking about Italy, the game against Cameroon and the team. Time will tell as to who finishes as the top scorer. It's nice of the media to say that I deserve ten out of ten for my performance, but I don't believe that. However, the team merits ten out of ten.
Park Chu-Young, Korea Republic forward
Italy were a physically, technically and tactically strong team. We let ourselves down in some areas and we have some problems, but we can improve upon them. Personally speaking, I think to improve my tactics, skills and finishing - but we have gained some experience from both games- and work even harder on the things we can do better.
