Jean Francois De Sart, Belgium coach
We're thrilled to have qualified. That was our goal when we arrived here in China, and we've achieved it thanks to two wins. We had a lot of chances today, although we were guilty of not killing off the game. Still, so long as we're creating chances, we won't worry too much, although we'll need to improve our finishing if we want to progress in this tournament.
Stu Jacobs, New Zealand coach
It was a very tough game and, unfortunately, this result means we're heading home. Our second and third games were tough challenges for us. Yes we're all disappointed, but I'll be thanking my players for their efforts before I leave here. The move that led to the goal was unfortunate for us, but we don't need to reproach ourselves for that. We're leaving here with our heads held high.
Aaron Scott, New Zealand defender
I don't think we deserved to lose, but now is not the time to get into that. We put in a tremendous effort, but it wasn't enough and so we're going home. We're disappointed but we shouldn't blame ourselves at all. This has been a great experience.
