Relive the FIWC13 Live Stream on YouTube

After successful events in France, the UK and Spain, the FIWC completed it's final Territory Showdown for 2013 on 17 April at Signal Iduna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund.

Three of Germany’s top EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13 online players participated in a tough group stage as they tried to secure a place in the final against defending national champion and FIWC12 bronze medallist Kai Wollin. Marius Popp was able to beat out Lukas Hoffmann and Savas Destan Oglo for the seat opposite Kai. Spurred on by playing in the national final at the home of his favourite club, Kai was able to win the event, securing a return to the Grand Final.

I'm just very happy to get another chance at the Grand Final. Hopefully I can build on my third-place finish last year.
German champion Kai Wollin

Mats Hummels shows his skill
Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels showed his EA SPORTS™ FIFA 13 pedigree at the Germany Showdown. In an exciting exhibition match against the national champion, Hummels was able to score the only goal of the match. The goal was especially enjoyable for the Dortmund defender, who had the honour of scoring with his very own avatar! Hummels quickly replaced initial penalty taker and teammate Robert Lewandowski, choosing instead to hammer the penalty home with the FIFA 13 Mats Hummels.
