As we edge closer to our four FIWC champions visit to Vancouver, we take a second look at Adam Winster’s trip to the home of EA SPORTS™ earlier this year.
In our previous video you watched Adam triumph against the creators of EA SPORTS™ FIFA 12. Adam won all five matches at the EA SPORTS headquarters, showing exactly why he is one of the best virtual footballers in the world. But that’s not all Adam experienced in Vancouver. The Englishman enjoyed a scenic tour of the city, from the tree-lined avenues of the downtown area to the dizzy heights of Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Adam also tried out ice skating for the first time, an activity which can’t be left out on any trip to Canada. You can enjoy all the highlights of Adam's trip in the video above.
Behind the scenes
At EA SPORTS, Adam was able to peek behind the curtain and see how the best-selling sports computer game of all time is made. Nick Channon, FIFA 12 and FIFA 13 Line Producer, led Adam through the different departments and guided him through every part of the production process. Adam also enjoyed some time in the Motion Capture Studio. In the 1,500 square meter studio, real football players movements are captured and digitized in order to deliver the unique level of realism that makes the FIFA series an industry leader.
