With three online seasons already played, the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2011 is at the halfway stage and over 500,000 gamers have already taken part!
A staggering 775,000 participants earned last year's tournament a place in the Guinness Book of Records 2011 – Gamer’s Edition as the largest computer games tournament in the world. With over half a million players registered after just three of the six online seasons, this year’s event is on track to set yet another record.

The next online season is approaching fast, with the fourth of six seasons beginning on 1 March. Up for grabs once again are two places at the Grand Final, where the overall winner can look forward to a cheque for USD 20,000, as well as a prize that money can't buy - a trip to the FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala and the chance to rub shoulders with the greatest footballers from around the world.
