Wilhelmsson injury weakens Swedes

Swedish midfielder Christian Wilhelmsson is likely to miss his country's remaining two pool matches at UEFA EURO 2008 after going off with a leg injury late in the 2-0 win over defending champions Greece in Salzburg.

"It seems this injury is serious," Swedish coach Lars Lagerback told reporters. "I don't think it's possible he can play against Spain (on Saturday) and if it is serious then he'll not be able to feature against Russia (on June 18) either," Lagerback said.

Wilhelmsson went off clutching the back of his right thigh 12 minutes before the end of Tuesday's game.
