The stage is set for the ‘Festival of Champions' and football fans around the world are counting down the hours until Sunday 14 June, when the first games of the fortnight-long tournament finally get underway.

Even before the official big kick-off, South African fans will have a terrific opportunity to see some of their heroes in action. In the days leading up to this mouth-watering appetiser for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, the eight participating teams - Brazil, Egypt, Spain, USA, Iraq, Italy, New Zealand and South Africa - will hold free training sessions open to the public.

So if you simply cannot wait to witness the magic of Seleção stars Kaka and Robinho, to see Italian FIFA World Cup-winners Fabio Cannavaro and Andrea Pirlo in the flesh, or even to get a feel for the passion of the South African local heroes like Aaron Mokoena and Steven Pienaar, then you know what to do!

Tickets are required for entry into the sessions, which can be collected from official ticket collection points in each of the host cities. Details of training times, locations, and ticket collection points are available below.
