Cameroon star Salomon Olembé has pulled out of the FIFA Confederations Cup France 2003 before a ball has even been kicked. The Olympique de Marseille defender has pulled a hamstring and was unable to play in the friendly against Kuwait on Sunday 15 June. The “Indomitable Lions” won that game 6-2, with goals from Mohamadou Idrissou (14', 28'), Joseph-Désiré Job (15'), Geremi (23' pen.), Parfait Ngon Adjam (57') and Valery Mezague (70'). Cameroon will hold a training session in the Stade de France on Monday 16 June at 7.45pm.
