With just over a fortnight until the competition kick-off, the Local Organising Committee of the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2009 presented by TOYOTA has announced that there are only a limited number of tickets remaining for the Final and semi-final matches.

Shatha Al Romaithi, Communications Manager for the Local Organising Committee, urged football fans to buy tickets in advance to avoid missing out: "The support of UAE football fans has been great during the build-up to the tournament, and with match tickets selling fast, we strongly encourage anyone hoping to see a live game to buy their tickets now. Demand has been extremely high for both Final and Semi-Final games, as well as the opening game on the 9th of December between Al Ahli FCD and Auckland City FC at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium."

The Local Organising Committee has seen a steady rise in ticket sales following the Official Match Draw at Emirates Palace earlier this month.

In addition to featuring the world’s top football clubs and players on the pitch, there will be activities and entertainment for the whole community to enjoy off the pitch. ‘Football Fan Zones’ will be set up outside the stadiums that will open two hours before every match, providing spectators with a range of entertainment activities, as well as official merchandise stores and food and beverage outlets.
