The 45-year-old former Czech international has five days to decide and said he would be taking soundings before making a decision. "I have several meetings to attend when I return to Prague," he told Czech press agency CTK. "After those have taken place I will make an announcement."
Should he stand it will be the second time he has tried having lost to Pavel Mokry - who had the support of the then strongman of Czech football Vlastimil Kostal - in 2005.
Hasek, who won 56 caps between 1984 and 1994 for what was then Czechoslovakia - has been asked by 67 out of the 76 local CMFS organisations to stand.
Hasek led Al Ahli to the UAE title last week with the club set to represent the host nation at December's FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2009.
