Gamba Osaka will face city rivals Cerezo in the last 16 of the AFC Champions league for the fourth consecutive year after goals from Yasuhito Endo and Takashi Usami saw them beat Tianjin Teda 2-0 and win Group E.

Endo put the 2008 champions in front after 74 minutes at Expo '70 Stadium with a trademark free-kick before 19-year-old striker Usami netted a late penalty.

The result meant Jeju United's clash with Melbourne Victory at Jeju World Cup Stadium, which ended 1-1, was rendered academic with both sides now unable to progress.

Jeju took the lead in the 25th minute when Park Hyun-Beom chipped a first-time pass into the area for Kim Eun-Jung to chest down, swivel and fire a low half-volley past goalkeeper Tando Velaphi.

Melbourne equalised just after the hour when a headed clearance only went as far as Diego Ferreira loitering outside the box and the defender's volley bounced once before ending up in the back of the net.
