Mexico eased to victory over Solomon Islands to finish second in their group while Portugal left it until the last second of extra time to qualify.
The Iranians were all smiles as they bowed out of Rio 2007 with a 5-4 win over Spain, Ghorbanpour getting two of the goals for the victors.
