It was a really close match and luck was on our side again. We were strong mentally as we didn't crack despite Jeremy Basquaise being sent off. We kept our concentration and fought all the way through. I'm proud of my players but we still need to improve if we're going to get past the next round.
A penalty shoot-out is always a lottery, but you should be prepared for it and we weren't. I'm proud of my players as they played really well against one of the big names in beach soccer. We played our best match of the tournament but we couldn't take the chances we had to win it.
It's a wonderful feeling to save the penalty which sees your team qualify. It's the little things that swing a match like this in your favour, and they all went for us today.

We started off badly but over the match as a whole, we were the better side. We didn't take advantage of it when they were down to three, and that's what cost us the win.
