
Argentina and Brazil reached the final of the South American
Beach Soccer Championship in Buenos Aires today, sealing berths at
the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Marseille 2008 in the process.
The hosts beat Uruguay 5-3 to claim their place in
Sunday's deciding match, while the Brazilians defeated
Venezuela 8-3 in the other semi-final. Uruguay and Venezuela will
now play-off for South America's third ticket to this
year's world finals, which will take place from 17 to 27
July.
