It is really frustrating to see, once again, a Portuguese side being relegated to a mere 3rd place. No team is unbeatable - so, a lot of work needs to be done by the Portuguese players and coach to be get their game and strategies to a point where they can, legitimately, fight for a world cup trophy. There is no point to have the talent if you can use it to get results. Perhaps the players need to be reminded of their duties.

“That was a tough game for us, but we grew in stature after a shaky first period and took control of the game, finishing off in fine style. As expected we’ll be up against Russia in the final,” Alexandre Soares, Brazil coach.
