It's been a long rise to the top for MPear11. Entering the top ten in Round 6, it took him just three weeks to enter the top five, where he has largely remained for the past 16 matchdays.

However, this week, the Canadian has overtaken rivals javy1409 and DanielOlaf to sit top of the tree for the very first time after earning 344 points in Round 25.

The question now is: can he hold on? His lead over javy1409 is a meagre 31 points, but he finds himself 153 away from third placed jabulail, who leapfrogged DanielOlaf.

The Mexican, who has held top spot for 11 rounds, endured a torrid week, predicting two out of ten fixtures correctly.

It was a completely different week for bichon from Argentina, who racked up an incredible 633 points after getting no fewer than nine right - and playing a successful joker.

The South American secured 157 points thanks to Sevilla's shock 2-0 win over Villarreal. It's a remarkable story - as the Argentinean only joined the action five weeks ago and now finds himself with a signed shirt from a FIFA World Cup™ winner.

The six best finishers from the week (one from each of FIFA's six confederations) also receive the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany book entitled 'The Final Day' together with the DVD 'The Grand Finale'.

The successful participants from Round 25 are: Schwitzkaste from Germany, bobvegas from Australia [Asia], Goldenboot from Nigeria [Africa], vinsy24 from Canada [CONCACAF], roman2388 from Colombia [South America] and rwinkler from New Zealand [Oceania].
