World XI Predictor wins trip to Brazil 2014

On 13 January 2014 the official team for the FIFA/FIFPro World XI was revealed at the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2013 ceremony. It was an announcement the world had been waiting for, especially the tens of thousands of Club members that entered our ‘Predict the World XI’ contest on FIFA.com.

From 2 December 2013 to 4 January 2014, Club members from all over the world submitted their predictions for the 2013 World XI in the hopes of winning a trip to the Final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™. While the FIFA World Cup trip to Brazil was the main prize, there were also several enticing runners-up prizes including shirts signed by four-time FIFA Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, Barcelona legend Pep Guardiola, FIFA Women’s World Cup™ winner Homare Sawa and FIFA World Cup winner Andres Iniesta.

World XI a dream team for winners
The FIFA/FIFPro World XI 2013 is: Manuel Neuer, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Sergio Ramos, Philipp Lahm, Franck Ribery, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cristiano Ronaldo.

22 predictors managed the incredible feat of accurately predicting all 11 footballers that made it into the FIFA/FIFPro World XI for 2013. These 22 Club members were placed into the draw for the Grand Prize and ten runners-up prizes. We are delighted to reveal the results of the prize draw. Congratulations to the following club members!

GRAND PRIZE
nangaca (Colombia), is going to the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Final! Her Grand Prize includes a trip for the winner and a guest, including flights to and from Brazil, three nights accommodation and a pair of tickets to the Brazil 2014 Final! "I can't explain with words how happy and grateful I am for winning this contest," says nangaca, "I will take my father to Brazil as he taught me how to play and love soccer. He more than anyone in the world deserved to watched the best team in the world raise the world cup trophy."

The winners impressive prediction of the entire World XI took considerable effort. "I analyzed player by player trying to ignore their nationalities or the club they represent," she said. "I only focused on what they did during 2013 and more importantly what fans thought about the players."

While nangaca prepares for the priceless trip ahead to the Final of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the following Club members will receive so fantastic runner-up prizes for their efforts:
