Congratulations to wolverine-01 from Colombia on winning the 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI Predictor! 73 deserving names went into the Grand Prize draw, all of which managed to correctly predict and submit the entire 11 players featured in our 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI Predictor game.

Luck, however, favoured the Colombian in the final Grand Prize random draw. wolverine-01 will now receive a special FIFA Ballon d’Or jersey signed by the entire 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI!

Signatures on this amazing jersey include all three nominees for the 2012 Ballon d’Or (Messi, Iniesta and Cristiano Ronaldo), current European and World champions Iker Casillas, Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique and La Liga superstars Falcao, Marcelo and Dani Alves!

Over 650 predictors came within a breath of the perfect prediction, managing to correctly guess 10 of the eleven players in the 2012 FIFA/FIFPro World XI. Where did they go wrong? The most popular nominees included in these top predictors’ teams but absent from the official selection were Jordi Alba, Carles Puyol, Thiago Silva and Pepe.

The majority of our predictors managed to accurately guess nine of the 11 players. The three most popular players amongst this majority of all predictors that did not land up in the World XI were Thiago Silva, Jordi Alba and Andrea Pirlo.

We would like to thank all our predictors for joining in the fun. The 2012 FIFA/FIFPro Predictor may be over but we have a brand new season of FIFA Predictor – the daily match prediction game, kicking off on 1 February. Don’t miss out on a chance to win some amazing prizes including a trip to the 2014 FIFA World Cup™!
