Round 29 winner maximos-irq is from the city of Arbil in Iraq and is only the second predictor from the Asia region to win a weekly round this season. We contacted the Iraqi audio engineer and discussed his Round 29 victory.

FIFA.com: Can you tell us a little about your experience in Round 29, from predicting the games to winning the round?
maximos-irq: It was a wonderful experience. Ironically, I found out that I had won from one of my friends who is also participating in FIFA Match Predictor. I was very surprised but it was definitely great news!

You are only the second player from the Asia confederation to win a weekly round. How does that make you feel?
I’m happy that I scored a weekly win for Asia! Predictors in the AFC region need to do a better job of predicting!

How much time do you spend making your weekly predictions for FIFA Match Predictor?
Unfortunately my job doesn’t allow me to spend as much time as I would like on this great game, which I enjoy very much, but I will try to spend more time from now on.

How have you found this season of Predictor? Has it been tougher than previous seasons?
This season is very exciting and the competition is very fierce. I hope that myself and my fellow players from Asia can do even better.
