It’s Thursday and for FIFA Match Predictors that means two things: Getting your predictions in before the midnight deadline and, of course, our weekly interview with one of our recent round winners!

Round 12 winner ideraldo1967 is a systems analyst who lives in Belem, northern Brazil. The Brazilian enjoyed massive success in Round 12 of FIFA Match Predictor scoring on eight of the ten international fixtures. We spoke to him shortly after his win.

FIFA.com: How did it feel to win Round 12 of FIFA Match Predictor?
ideraldo1967:
I was somewhat surprised. I never imagined reaching that score (663 points), especially considering my scores in the previous rounds.

Do you have a specific method that you use when you make your predictions?
Typically, for teams that I do not know, I use the data provided by FIFA Match Predictor such as position on the table, wins, losses and draws.

Do you have a favourite football player?
From the past, I admire Pele. Lionel Messi is my current favourite and for the future I think Neymar from Santos will shine.

And your favourite team?
Fluminense from Rio de Janeiro

Which Round 12 result surprised you the most?
I don't think there was one main surprise. Maybe the Colombia-Venezuela draw, but this year Venezuela has shown great progress in football, so maybe the result was not so surprising.
