It’s Thursday and for FIFA Match Predictors that means two things: Getting your predictions in before the midnight deadline and, of course, our weekly interview with one of our recent round winners!

“What I usually do is to pick one match at a time, concentrating on the statistics and, sometimes, just following my intuition,” says Round 9 winner of FIFA Match Predictor mollenhauer. A journalism student in Chile, mollenhauer balances his time studying for college with intensely researching the weekly fixtures for FIFA Match Predictor. We spoke to the Chilean youngster after his Round 9 triumph. So mollenhauer, how much time do you spend making your predictions?
mollenhauer: It depends on my week and on how much I have going on. Usually it takes a long time because I study each teams’ statistics, their current form and so on.

You were one of the few predictors that backed Manchester City to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford. Why did you decide to back Mancini's men?
I thought City was going to win because they have playing very well of late. Also, the current Manchester United team does not seem as solid as in the past. I felt City were capable of surprising United.

How satisfying is it to see your name at the top of a weekly leader board?
It is very important and incredible because I waited a long time for this. I am proud and I want to keep giving all my effort in the coming weeks.

You used your joker on a K-League match between Ulsan Hyundai Horangi and Busan I´Park. Why did you pick this game?
I picked that fixture because I spent a lot of time studying the K-League, mainly because it is one of the leagues I knew very little about.
