Tel Aviv Derby
Hapoel Tel Aviv-Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel)
Reigning champions Hapoel Tel Aviv are already five points off the pace in the 2010/11 Israeli Premier League. This weekend they have the chance to close in on city-rivals Maccabi Tel Aviv who currently occupy second place on 12 points. The pair of rivals met three times last season - twice in the regular league season and once in the playoffs. Hapoel edged out Maccabi 1-0 at home and beat them 4-2 on the road during the regular season, with the pair drawing 0-0 at Hapoel in a playoff match back in May 2010.

Russian relegation rumble
Krylya Sovetov Samara-Sibir Novosibirsk (Russia)
With only seven games of their respective seasons remaining, the bottom two battle it out on Sunday in Russia’s top tier. Krylya Sovetov Samara carry a slightly brighter hope of trying to climb out of the red zone on 22 points and are within three points of a number of lower-half teams. Sibir Novosibirsk meanwhile are only on 16 points and must collect a run of wins if they are to survive the drop.

Chase continues in Peru
Sporting Cristal-Colegio Nacional de Iquitos (Peru)
The second stage of Peru’s 2010 Primera Division is well underway as teams battle it out for a place in the finals. On Sunday, Group A’s Sporting Cristal and Colegio Nacional de Iquitos clash. Sporting Cristal beat Colegio Nacional 5-2 when they last visited in the regular season, while Colegio Nacional won 1-0 at home.

All to play for in Honduras
Olimpia-Victoria (Honduras)

The Honduran Primera Division enters the second-half of the season this weekend. Second-placed Victoria travel to fourth-placed Olimpia and the stakes are high for both teams. Depending on what happens in Saturday’s Marathon-Platense and Nexaca-Real Espana matches, either Victoria or Olimpia could be at the top of the table by the end of the weekend. Will Olimpia leapfrog their opponents or can Victoria step out of the second-place shadow and onto the summit?

Turkey's tough clash
Konyaspor-Fenerbahce (Turkey)
Konyaspor’s poor form in their return to Turkey's top tier sees them enter their match against Fenerbahce on Sunday in 15th position, just above the relegation zone. Visitors Fenerbahce are already in a heated top-four battle and will be looking for maximum points from their trip to Konya.
