Round 23 in the FIFA World Leagues Predictor belonged to IFSilkeborg. The German's 745 points was a new record, and it owed much to him predicting several unexpected results.
The match picked as the longshot of the week ultimately claimed victory for IFSilkeborg, who collected 86 points for Hertha Berlin's surprise win over Bayern Munich. Other upsets that scored big for him were Portsmouth's defeat of Manchester City 2-1 (79 points), and Moroka Swallows' reverse of Orlando Pirates (76 points).
iamthelegend finished second on 698 points, managing nine correct predictions out of ten and clinching bonus points. The Algerian's attempt was thwarted by the Hertha-Bayern outcome.
faca0312 also excelled to finish third. Ironically, the Colombian's downfall came courtesy of the South American results. In Argentina, River Plate beat Rosario Central somewhat expectedly (41 points) and in Ecuador, El Nacional overcame Liga de Portoviejo (70 points).
