A beaming Pia Sundhage received the FIFA Women's Coach of the Year 2012 award from Luiz Felipe Scolari before bursting into a rendition of a Bob Dylan number.

Last summer the Swede won Olympic gold with USA and her terrific work on the sidelines has duly been recognised by coaches and national team captains of the 209 FIFA member associations, as well as a select group of journalists.

However, 2012 was also a year of change for Sundhage. Approximately three weeks after the Olympic triumph in London, she announced her departure from the USA women’s team, before taking charge of the senior women’s side in her homeland on 1 December 2012.

"I feel really [close] to the team and am very proud of them. I’d love to give everyone an award like this, but there’s only one trophy, so I’ll keep it," a laughing Sundhage told FIFA.com after the ceremony.
