Accustomed to the limelight since the age of 14, Neymar has become a household name in Brazil and one of its brightest hopes for the future.

The precocious Santos star has spent 2011 fulfilling the vast expectations invested in him, contributing to their successful Sao Paulo state title defence and inspiring them to a third Copa Libertadores triumph. On top of that the 19-year-old also played a major hand in Brazil’s U-20 South American Championship win, one that secured A Seleçãozinha a berth at London 2012.

The two-footed Neymar is a handful for any defence with his mazy dribbling and increasingly lethal finishing, qualities that have made him a fixture in the senior Brazil team and a recognised star of world football.
