Philadelphia-based Football for Hope project Starfinder helps young people aged between six and 18 get their lives on the right track. We dropped in and visited the project managers.

The youngsters are offered the chance to use football as a springboard to a better life. The boys, girls and youths learn the importance of school and education for their futures, and find out how the game can assist in this context.

Aside from offering regular training sessions, Starfinder’s main objectives are to build team spirit, promote mutual respect and develop individual personalities.

Watch our video, learn about the project’s methods on the ground, and find out how young Nury Ortiz graduated from Starfinder and enrolled in college.
