In our video of the week, we take you on a journey to Yemen, where football is not just a sport but also a way of bringing people together.

Despite limited financial means and being in one of the world’s poorest countries, the club Al-Oruba does its best to ensure football helps the region develop. The Sana'a-based outfit is assisted in this endeavour by Syrian refugees, who themselves derive fresh hope for their futures through football. It is a collaboration from which everyone can take something positive.

Sharing and co-operating on a sporting and human level is yet another example of what football can inspire. See for yourself the power of sport and the positive effects it has had on the people of Yemen.
