Groundhopping is a special form of collecting. It has nothing to do with stamps, stickers or shirts, but is all about watching as many football matches as possible in diverse stadiums across the globe.

In this video, FIFA.com introduces a group of 53 groundhoppers who set themselves the target of attending ten games in the space of four days in south Wales and west England.

The bus tour was responsible for setting new attendance records at five of the grounds they visited and in this edition of Video of the Week, trip organiser and passionate groundhopper Chris Berezai explains how he developed his hobby.

As well as watching the matches, the exchange of souvenirs and compilation of statistics play an important role for some of the game’s most passionate fans.

Take a look for yourself at what motivates groundhoppers and witness the adventures they experienced on tour.
