"The match which was scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to 20 April," association spokesperson Henry Boyd Flomo told AFP. "It's a decision based on the request of the Ivorian football authorities to FIFA.
"They said they cannot gather their players for the match due to the political instability in Côte D'Ivoire. They asked for ten days."
Côte D'Ivoire is in the midst of a violent standoff over a disputed election, with strongman Laurent Gbagbo refusing to yield power to internationally recognised president Alassane Ouattara.
