Goals from Jose Maria Callejon and Karim Benzema saw Real Madrid conclude their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 friendly victory over Scottish side Celtic in Philadelphia.
The reigning Spanish champions have been in imperious form during their four-match tour of USA, having beaten Los Angeles Galaxy and Santos Laguna before thrashing AC Milan 5-1 earlier this week.
Celtic posed little threat to Jose Mourinho’s men completing a 100 per cent record in the United States, with Callejon claiming his fifth goal of pre-season and the first of the match in the 21st minute.
France striker Benzema then secured the win midway through the second period, finishing coolly after being played through by Mesut Ozil.
Real begin their 2012/13 La Liga campaign next Sunday with a fixture at home to Valencia before the next instalment of the Clásico sees Los Blancos take on rivals Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup, with the first leg scheduled for 23 August at Camp Nou.
