The 2011 regular season has wrapped in Major League Soccer, and now all sights are set on the play-offs that will reach a grand finale at the Home Depot Center in LA on 20 November for the one-off MLS Cup. With a new format in place, ten teams will be pursuing championship silverware this year as the ‘wild card’ round gets things underway between FC Dallas and New York Red Bulls, and Colorado Rapids and Columbus Crew.
Following that initial knockout round, the West’s Los Angeles Galaxy, Seattle Sounders, Real Salt Lake, and Colorado Rapids will join the play-off pack in the Conference semi-finals along with Sporting Kansas City, Houston Dynamo, and Philadelphia Union from the East.
With more teams than ever participating in the MLS play-offs, FIFA.com wants to know which two teams you think will reach the MLS Cup in November and who will ultimately go on to win the league's title. Do you foresee an upset or will regular-season dominance prove out in the final push towards the crown?
