Can't wait to see what FIFA.com has in store for you next week? Every Thursday, we offer fans an inside look at the interviews, features and stories arriving next week on FIFA.com.
One on one with Teofilo Cubillas
Peru’s most famous footballer is the focus of next week’s FIFA.com exclusive interview. Nicknamed El Nene (The Kid), Cubillas enjoyed many career milestones. He helped Peru win the 1975 Copa America, received the 1972 South American Footballer of the Year award and scored ten FIFA World Cup™ goals in his international career making him one of the competitions all time top scorers.
Future looks bright for CAF stars
We take a departure from classic football next week to focus on the African stars of today. The colourful feature is also covered in the ‘50 Years of African Football’ 5 DVD Box Set - The official collection chronicling the history of African football. The Box Set was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Cup fever continues
The 32 teams that will attend the 2010 FIFA World Cup may have been finalised but the pre-tournament excitement is far from over. In the weeks to come, FIFA.com will be extensively covering the build up to 4 December - a night on which fans will know exactly what the groups for South Africa 2010 will be. Our final draw coverage will culminate with a live DrawCast on FIFA.com.
