When did you start playing the EA SPORTS™ FIFA series?
First EA SPORTS FIFA I can remember playing was FIFA 2000 and from then on I played every single FIFA that came out.

What made you decide to participate in the FIWC?
Since I discovered the FIWC in FIFA 09 I always wanted to qualify. I think it is natural for you to want to compare your skills to the very best and FIWC gives you that opportunity. Of course, the Grand Prize of going to the FIFA Ballon d'Or is also a huge factor in me wanting to participate in the FIWC. Going to the Ballon d'Or would truly be a once in a lifetime experience.

What has been your best result at the FIWC leading up to the 2014 edition?
It will be my first participation at the FIWC, so I'm looking forward to making FIWC 2014 my biggest success.

In your opinion what do you think your chances are in the Grand Final?
If I am on the top of my game there are very few people who can beat me. There are are two or three favourites, like Grannec, but below them are people like me who, if everything goes well, could go very far in the tournament.

How does it feel to have secured your seat for the Grand Final?
I am over the moon! Going to the Grand Final is all I ever wanted as a FIFA player. And with it being held in Rio during the official World Cup and being able to take in the World Cup atmosphere is truly a dream come true.

What do you think it takes to win the Grand Final?
It takes hard work and dedication to win the Grand Final. Besides that you need a lot mental strength to be unaffected by the pressure. Almost everybody at FIWC can play a good game at home in front of the television. But playing at FIWC with thousands of people watching, that's a different story.

Which team will you be supporting at the FIFA World Cup?
Of course the National team of my country, Holland. I really hope they can make it to the Final and win it this time.
