Gamers, the FIFA Interactive World Cup is happy to finally announce all the winners from Online Season 1 of FIWC 2014. These players will all be in Rio de Janeiro where they will get to represent their nation and experience both the FIWC 2014 Grand Final and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™!

Leaderboard stars
Congratulations to our top two overall players for Online Qualification Season 1. 'ZiZouEstDeRetour'
from France and 'dignitasTyWalton' from England put in spectacular efforts respectively to win the chance to represent their nations at the virtual world cup! The Season 1 qualifying players are in for a tough few months as they continue to improve their game and try to keep their virtual skills as sharp as possible all the way to the main event in Rio de Janeiro.

First quality player declared
Our exciting new Community Qualifier method of qualification allows players to play as little as 30 games in a single online season and still have a chance to make it to the Grand Final. Your games will have to be incredible though, as only the player with the best quality ratio wins the Community Qualifier seat for the 2014 Grand Final.

'ToniKastillo_GoL' from England proved he has the quality to take on the best in Rio de Janeiro. Playing 100 games and maintaining a perfect quality ratio, the Englishman stamped his claim on the summit of the Community Qualifier Leaderboard for Season 1. New to the FIWC? Find out how the Community Qualifier works and try to make your nation proud by qualifying for the Grand Final.

Japan wins Country Challenge
The nation of the reigning FIFA Women’s World Cup champions and the Samurai Blue – the first team to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ – is also the winner of the first ever FIWC Country Challenge! To win the Country Challenge, players from the competing nations had to try their best to get a top class score via the Community Qualifier. The country with the best average across all players that met the Community Qualifier criteria (you have to play at least 30 FIWC games in a season) was awarded the Country Challenge prize.

All players that helped Japan win the Country Challenge were placed into a Grand Prize draw for the Online Season 1 Country Challenge prize. The prize includes a trip to Brazil for two people, tickets to the final day of the FIWC 2014 Grand Final in Rio de Janeiro and tickets to a match at the 2014 FIFA World Cup! Congratulations to our Grand Prize winner, 'yuta-8021'! You will represent your country in Brazil and get to watch the FIFA World Cup and FIWC Grand Final!

Missed out on all the Season 1 action? Don’t worry about it! You have 5 more seasons to make your way to Brazil. Our main leaderboard, Community Qualifier and Country Challenge take place every season, giving you a number of chances to try and win with the FIWC. Your journey to Brazil begins now!
