FIFA has taken note and is satisfied by the decision rendered today by CAS in the case of Amos Adamu vs. FIFA, by means of which the appeal of Amos Adamu has been rejected and the decision of the FIFA Appeal Committee of 3 February 2011 has been confirmed.

This CAS decision further underlines FIFA’s zero tolerance and clear stance against any breach of the FIFA Code of Ethics. As a reminder, Amos Adamu received a three year sanction by FIFA’s Ethics Committee for a breach of various articles of the FIFA Code of Ethics.
