A battle between England's two most successful clubs, crucial league matches in Korea Republic and Costa Rica, and the good old Grenal derby in Brazil are just some of the ten tough fixtures predictors face in Round 9. FIFA.com takes a closer look at some of the big games.

Match of the week
Liverpool-Manchester United (England)
Many predictors will doubt Liverpool's ability to overpower Manchester United based on the former's recent form. Rafa's reds occupy an unusual eighth position on the Premier League table and are seven points behind leaders United after only nine games. The big questions this weekend: Will we see tired legs from all the UEFA Champions League and FIFA World Cup™ qualification action? Will former Liverpool superstar Michael Owen have a pivotal role to play in a match that could reignite or snuff out Liverpool's title chances?

The derby
Internacional-Gremio (Brazil)
The citizens of Porto Alegre will breathe, sleep and eat football this weekend as the local Grenal derby plays out. Internacional are largely expected to beat their visitors. However should Gremio do the unexpected, backers would earn 83 points.

The play-off hopefuls
Alajuelense-Cartagines (Costa Rica)
With only a handful of fixtures remaining, Cartagines will try to gain a crucial three points on Alajuelense as they try to lunge for one of the three play-off qualification places available in the Primera Division's Group A. Alajuelense have proved consistently strong at home, while Cartagines have recorded only one win in their last six away fixtures. A Cartagines victory returns 89 points, a draw returns an equally enjoyable 85 points and an Alajuelense win returns a slim but solid 26 points.

Incheon United-FC Seoul (Korea Republic)
With only two matchdays left and only six championship playoff places available, sixth placed Incheon United cannot afford to drop points, even against the current K-League number two. FC Seoul will be no push over; they will want to hold onto second place as it offers direct entry into the second stage of playoff matches. Incheon to surprise at home is worth 82 points, while a Seoul celebration returns 40 points.

African encounter
El Gouna FC-Ismaily (Egypt)
Midtable El Gouna could make some much needed strides up the Egyptian League table should they defeat third-placed Ismaily. El Gouna have, however, only won two of their first six fixtures while Ismaily have only lost one match in their seven fixtures this far. An Ismaily away win returns 59 points, while an El Gouna surprise upset returns 73 points.

Good luck predictors, see you Monday for the weekend roundup and Round 10 fixture list.
