Derby fever grips Round 2 of FIFA World Leagues Predictor, with rivals clashing in South America and Europe. FIFA.com takes a look at some of Round 2's big matches.
La Plata Derby: Estudiantes-Gimnasia (Argentina)
The La Plata rivals last met on 5 April 2009; the 1-1 draw was the first points Gimnasia have been able to snatch off Estudiantes in their last 6 league matches. In their last ten league derbies, Estudiantes have won seven, while Gimnasia have only one recorded win; there have been two draws. The poor results against Estudiantes in recent years make Gimnasia huge underdogs at 10 per cent to win, with a possible return of 90 points.
Superclasico: Cerro Porteno-Olimpia (Paraguay)
The Paraguayan capital of Asunción comes alive this weekend as the big city derby takes place. Although Porteno have home advantage, they carry a three-draw streak into the derby. The odds are split evenly across the three possible outcomes.
Athens Derby: AEK Athens-Olympiacos (Greece)
The Athens rivals last met in May, the result of which was perhaps the most exciting Greek Super Cup final in history. Locked at 4-4 after extra-time, the sides embarked upon a penalty shootout that pushed the score to 15-14 with Olympiacos goalkeeper Antonis Nikopolidis eventually firing home the winner. Olympiacos carry 62 per cent to win odds, with AEK underdogs at 19 per cent to win despite the home advantage.
K-League clash: Chonbuk Motors-Pohang Steelers (Korea Republic)
In the Korean K-League, third-placed Pohang Steelers have a chance to reign in second-placed Chonbuk Hyundai Motors this weekend. Chonbuk have lost only one of their 8 home fixtures, making them 62 per cent favourites to win. Pohang are however undefeated in 6 games, and will be looking to capatalise on a demoralized Chonbuk side after their surprise 3-1 loss to midtable outfit Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma last weekend.
The longshot: Al Ahly-Haras El Hedood (Egypt)
The two sides last locked horns on 11 May 2009, a night on which Al Ahly enjoyed a slender 1-0 away win. The Alexandria-based outfit travel to Cairo to try and overturn Al Ahly's incredible form (12 games without loss). Haras El Hedood are a long shot at only 8 per cent to win, but an upset against the current champions would return a massive 92 points.
Round 2 deadline: 00:00 GMT 22 August 2009
