Only eight signed FIFA World Cup™ winner's jerseys are left in this season's prize bag. Could this weekend be your turn to claim one? Here's a closer look at some of the upcoming games on the FIFA World Leagues Predictor.
Match of the week: Lille-Paris Saint-Germain
Undefeated at home in the last six games, Lille must now overcome Paris Saint-Germain. The two teams are locked on 55 points, just four points short of leaders Lyon. To intensify matters, both teams trail third-placed Bordeaux, who are currently holding on to the final direct qualification spot for next season's UEFA Champions League, by one point. Which way will this French fixture sway? Surprisingly, Lille are statistical outsiders at home, while PSG are favourites at 50 per cent to win.
Relegation Rumble: Stoke City-Newcastle United
Propelled by Alan Shearer fever, Newcastle United are in dire need of a win to stave off the relegation blues. This weekend, they must attempt to surprise a strong Stoke City team that has been energized by back-to-back wins over Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion. Despite only snatching one point from the last six games, Newcastle are favourites to win at 53 per cent.
The long shots: Montevideo Wanderers-Rampla Juniors
Montevideo are hot on their home turf after their latest 3-0 defeat of Central Espanol. Rampla Juniors, who have won only three of 15 matches this season, will have to do something special to get a valuable away win (85 points).
Pachuca-Toluca
Toluca travel to Pachuca as the only remaining team undefeated this season in Mexico's top flight. Expect an inspiring performance from Pachuca, who trail Toluca by just two points in the overall standings. Despite their impressive run of 12 games without defeat, Toluca are underdogs away at 20 per cent to win. Risky predictors will be eyeing the massive 80 points a Toluca win or draw would bring.
Too close to call: Deportivo-Atletico Madrid (Spain)
After excellent performances against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Villarreal, Atletico have suffered two shock defeats. Likewise, Deportivo have performed poorly of late with only two wins in six games. Back Atletico for 53 points or put your faith in Deportivo for 70 points.
Good luck with Round 30. Be sure to read the latest update on Monday.
