Points were harder to come by this round, with only five predictors scoring over 500 points (compared to the 70 predictors that enjoyed half-centuries in Round 23). A postponed match in Serbia didn't help matters and Predictors had to make do with scoring from nine fixtures.

A Mexican duo climbed to the summit of Round 24, but it was fckrla7 who eventually planted the winner's flag. Once again the 'match of the week' proved the deciding factor. Second-placed dayosleon backed Aston Villa unsuccessfully, while fckrla7 bore the full fruits of of the Chelsea revival.

Third-placed Dcharley did well to back underdogs in Germany and Italy - Genoa's win at Napoli and Hamburg's upset at Bayer Leverkusen each returned 76 points -  but the Slovenian surprise escaped him: NK Celje went down to BST Domzale; a shock result that returned 88 points for Domzale backers.

Fourth-placed Anakin15 is the latest predictor to learn the joker's lesson the hard way. The Venezuelan scored points on every available fixture, but failed to predict a correct scoreline. Bonus points for Anakin15 would have meant a signed FIFA World Cup™ winner's jersey.

josefman was the last of the predictor's to score over 500 points in Round 24. The featured fixtures from Chile and Colombia stumped the Pole into finishing fifth.

Kammer caves while Colombian chases
Despite a lukewarm performance, Saururrex maintained his strong overall lead. AGUEVO gained 83 points on the Mexican, but will need to make longer and faster gains if he aims to catch the leader before season end.

Relative newcomers to the top ten, Zizo10 and Phio79 fared well  this round. The Jordanian took third, and Colombia's champion claimed fifth. Of all challengers, Phio79 remains one of the most dangerous, having scored some 300 points on five of the last eight rounds.

Long-time contender to the throne kammer fell into fifth place - his lowest position since Round 6. With his worst performance of the season (42 points) the German may have finally lost the chase to claim first.
