Top performers in 14
Switzerland's Philippe Senderos was the best fantasy pick this matchday. The defender outscored many of the world's best midfielders and forwards as he helped the Swiss maintain pole position in Europe's Group 2. With 30 points, Greek forward Theofanis Gekas offered the second-best returns. The striker put on a sensational performance against Latvia scoring four goals. The remaining top performers returned between 18 and 25 points with defenders, once again, claiming the lion's share. Montenegro defender Radoslav Batak deserves special mention. At a cost of only one unit, the defender returned 18 points. Batak's early goal helped Montenegro overcome Georgia 2-1, earning them their first win of the qualifiers.
