Surprise performances in Honduras and Norway along with an impeccable performance in Slovenia stirred up scores this matchday.

Leaders
djpizza claimed top honours this matchday with a performance that not only won him the round, but also pushed him into second place on the overall leaderboard. He now trails overall leader zeusch by only 6 points. Employing a 3-5-2 formation, djpizza enjoyed massive returns in midfield, thanks to top-notch performances by Slovenia's Robert Koren, Norway's Morten Gamst Pedersen and Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Juanydelia-managed C. D. Malaga finished runners-up, just nine points behind the Australian. In contrast to the winner, the Spanish manager was most let down by his midfield, scoring only 31 points off of the four players.

Best defenders
Slovenia's Aleksander Radosavljevic was the best defender, scoring a goal in Slovenia's 5-0 domination of San Marino. Radosavljevic, who had only returned 3 fantasy points in his last six qualifiers, scored 25 points this matchday much to the delight of the 0.5 per cent of managers that put their faith in him. Norway's John Arne Riise was equally impressive, returning 24 points. His 36th-minute goal from a set piece initiated a 4-0 victory over Scotland.

Top midfielders
Norway's Pedersen and Slovenia's Koren finished well ahead of the midfield pack on 25 points respectively. Pedersen scored a brace against Scotland, while Koren enjoyed the same accomplishment against San Marino. Trailing the top two were Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger and Norway's Erik Huseklepp; who both returned 17 points.

Impressive forwards
Carlos Costly shone brightest this matchday. The Honduran scored a brace in his team's surprise 4-0 win over group leaders Costa Rica. Croatia's Ivica Olic also finished on 18 points, ensuring there was a European presence at the top, while a string of strikers returned 13 points this matchday.

Shut-out specialists
Six goalkeepers kept clean sheets on Matchday 11, thus returning 14 points apiece. The most impressive clean sheet was perhaps from Clayton Ince. The Trinidad and Tobago goalkeeper cost managers only 3.5 units!

Star Coaches
Honduras' coach Reinaldo Rueda, Norway's Egil Olsen and Mexico's Javier Aguirre were the top three managers this matchday. All three coaches returned 18 points, thanks to win results against better-ranked opposition.
