July is a key month for the 28 postgraduates of 11th edition of the FIFA Master in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport.
On 14th July 2011, the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) will welcome representatives from the sports industry to Neuchâtel, Switzerland, for its annual ‘FIFA Master Conference’. During a day of events in Neuchâtel, the 28 FIFA Master postgraduate students, who represent 23 different nationalities, will present their completed group research dissertations to a specially invited audience.
2011 postgraduate research topics include Female Fans, the Olympics, Club licensing, sporting events, bidding, insurance in football and the relationship between music and sport. Following the successful presentation of their research, the postgraduates will move to a graduation ceremony on Friday 15 July at ‘Salle du Grand Conseil’ at the Château in Neuchâtel.
This year’s patron is the FIFA Secretary General Mr Jérôme Valcke and Mr. Massimo Busacca is the guest of honour. Mr Jérôme Valcke will join the select group of past edition patrons who include names such as Alexander Popov, Michel Platini and Sergey Bubka.
