Partner of CIES since 2007, the Cairo University has officially launched the 3rd edition of the FIFA/CIES Programme of sport management. The courses will start on 4 December 2010.
The Programme enables people from various professional and sporting horizons to familiarise themselves with modern management tools in key areas such as marketing, law, management, sponsoring, communication, finances and event management. Adapted to regional and national realities, it also offers the opportunity to attend lectures given by international FIFA/CIES experts.
“I was expecting new and professional ways of thinking in dealing with issues of sports. I have found much of what I expected” commented Hany Rashad Moustafa, alumni of the first edition of the Programme. Another former student, Khaled Mustafa, added: “The Programme has many strengths (...). It enables students to know more persons interested in the same field of study (sports), to learn the newest information concerning sports, to enter in contacts with foreigner specialists and consultants who come to teach us.”
