The young defensive midfielder is one of the least experienced players at the Festival of Champions. In fact his national team debut came only as a second-half substitute in Tahiti’s final full international prior to Brazil 2013.

Among a host of a new generation of players that Eddy Etaeta introduced at the back-end of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ campaign, Aitamai is highly regarded by the coach for his big-hearted displays in the middle of the park.
