Another who has made a late run to earn selection for Brazil 2013, Lemaire is a left-sided player capable of playing at ful-lback or stepping into the midfield.
His first international cap came only last year in an OFC Nations Cup group match against Vanuatu in the tournament which saw Tahiti win through to Brazil 2013. He followed that up by playing Tahiti’s final two 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ qualifiers against Solomon Islands and Francophone rivals New Caledonia in March.
One of the few natural left-footers at Eddy Etaeta’s disposal, Lemaire is a strong crosser of the ball. A sense of anticipation and good positioning ability on the field make Lemaire a valuable asset in defense.
The 23-year-old is yet another who plies his trade with Tahitian champions AS Dragon, and gained invaluable experience earlier this year with the team participating in the OFC Champions League.
