One of the best netminders in the Nigerian Premier League over the last three or four seasons, Chigozie Agbim is a popular figure and is considered a capable and improving third-choice goalkeeper for the Super Eagles.

Agile, powerful and adept at being in the right position, Agbim also has leadership qualities, serving as captain for the local team so vital as a proving ground to coach Stephen Keshi. His favoured role with the ‘Big Boss’ has won him a handful of international caps since debuting in January of 2012 against Angola.

He made a high-profile transfer this term from Warri Wolves to Enugu Rangers, who engaged in a long-running battle over his fee, which at one point was poised to make him one of the most expensive players in Nigeria. But he returned to the Flying Antelopes in April – having previously played for them.
