Service provider MATCH apologises for technical issues

MATCH Services AG, which is responsible for administering the ticketing system for the FIFA Confederations Cup, regrets the technical challenges faced by some customers during today’s launch of the pre-sales phase for Visa card customers.

Although the vast proportion of requests were successfully processed, some applicants faced challenges in completing their orders during the course of the afternoon and early evening. MATCH Service AG apologises to those Visa card customers who may have been inconvenienced.

MATCH Services is working to resolve the remaining technical bugs. In the meantime, MATCH Services AG will liaise with those football fans who faced issues today with the ticketing site to ensure that they are informed of the options available in order to secure their tickets. 

Due to the high interest in FIFA Confederations Cup tickets, fans may temporarily be transferred to the waiting room until they are able to process their request. The waiting room is a service offered by FIFA to fans in order to make sure that those who come first will be served first.
