The Golden Ball will go to the competition’s best player. FIFA will announce a shortlist on 28 June. Thereafter, members of the media and the fans will be able to vote for the winner until the end of the Final.
FIFA Fair Play Award
The FIFA Fair Play Award will go to the team with the tournament’s best disciplinary record. Only those that reach the knockout phase are eligible. Brazil won the trophy in 2009.
The Golden Boot will go to Brazil 2013’s top scorer. If two or more players are tied on goals, the one who made the most assists will win. If assists can’t split them, the one who played the least minutes will emerge with the prize.
The Golden Glove will go to the tournament’s best goalkeeper, as decided by the FIFA Technical Study Group. Tim Howard of the USA won the award in the last edition in South Africa 2009.
